Chief Executive Officer - Ernest Ngubo

Ernest has an engineering career that spans for over 25 years. He is a founding member and a shareholder in Igoda Projects. He has been the Chief Executive Officer of Igoda Projects since 2004. His career began as an apprentice electrician in 1984, working his way up through Technikon and later University studies, to being eventually a founding member of Igoda Consulting Engineers firm in 1999.

His experience includes 10 years as an engineering technician in various companies including Unilever, Watson Edwards Consulting Engineers, and Spoornet to mention but a few. Ernest has also practiced as a consulting engineer for more than 15 years executing various projects from conceptual engineering designs, contract, administration and business management.

He is a co-founder of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) and a member of the regional committee of the Black Management Forum (BMF). He serves as a Director in the Boards of the following companies: Fluor Igoda Pty Ltd (Chairman) and Electrowave Pty Ltd.

Managing Director - TC Madikane

TC started his career as an engineering technician in training with Iscor in 1990. He is trained in basic and advanced mechanical, electrical and electronic courses. In 1992 - he joined the Department of Works as a technician.

He has been with Igoda Consulting Engineers since 2001 as a Director and Shareholder. TC has a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management, B Sc Eng, Diploma in Project Management, National Diploma in Electrical Engineering and he is Professional Engineer.

He is a Member of the Institute of Directors and Fellow of SAIEE. He has won the SAIEE Engineer of the year award in 2006. TC is serving on various ECSA subcommittees and he is a Vice Chairman of the Professional Advisory Committee (Electrical) as well as a Council Member for ECSA. TC has been an External Examiner for the final year design project at University of Natal and Mangosuthu University of Technology between 1998 to 2003

TC is currently serving on the SAIEE Council since 2007 and was appointed by the Minister of Water and Environmental Affairs as a Board Member of Mhlathuze Water in January 2011.
